Skinny Pizza

I was hungry for pizza and decided to make my own. This pizza is very easy to make and tastes awesome! Have fun playing with it and coming up with your own combinations. You can always add a lean protein and any other vegetables.

If you are following Six Weeks to Skinny Jeans this recipe would be Melt only.

Ingredients

  • 1 La Tortilla Factory - whole wheat shell
  • 4 TBS Pizza sauce (I used Publix brand)
  • 2 TBSPart Skim Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slice 2% Provolone cheese
  • 1 TBS Goat cheese
  • 1 TBS Sun dried tomatoes rinsed if using jared tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Over medium heat, cook tortilla shell in a nonstick pan (spray with pam)
  3. Cook each side approximately 3 minutes per side or until golden brown - shell should be slightly hard
  4. Spray baking sheet with pam
  5. Place tortilla shell on baking sheet add sauce
  6. Add red pepper & sun dried tomatoes
  7. Add cheeses
  8. Place in over - bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and slightly browned
  9. Enjoy!

Notes

The baking time will vary depending on your oven.
